General Description
You may know, that among the 3 cousin-vans (Chrysler Town and Country, Plymouth Voyager, and Dodge Caravan) these Town and country models are the premium version. This beauty is silver with grey interior. This is the body style that began in 2001. Compared to the 1996-2000 models, this generation is more attractive and refined inside and out. It's not a big difference visually, but upon closer comparison, the 2001-2007 models are nicer inside and outside. Also, this van is quieter, smoother and more refined in general than the prior generation. This particular one began as the moderately equipped of the several trim levels, named an LX. Has the 3.3 liter 6 cylinder engine, with overdrive automatic. Includes a nice list of features in addition to the common features of power windows, locks, mirrors, tilt wheel and cruise control. Some extra options/features are: rear ventilation; overhead console with trip computer system; etc. This is a nicely equipped, comfortable, capable wheelchair van, with great mileage.

Mobility and Adaptive Features
This received a premium mobility conversion when new, by a division of the industry giant, Braun. Has a long list of mobility features, including:

* Power ramp out the passenger side door. This ramp is plenty long and wide, allowing for nearly any wheelchair or scooter and person to go in and out.

* Power sliding passenger side door. This operates in conjunction with the ramp and the "kneeling" suspension.

* "Kneeling" suspension. This sweet feature causes the van to lower several inches in the rear, which notably reduces the ramp angle, and makes going in and out smoother, easier, safer.

* Easily removable front seats. In a matter of seconds, you can flip levers and remove the front drivers seat, or passenger seat.

* Many various locations throughout the middle and front areas, for inserting anchor straps in the floor, for securing a wheelchair.

* Includes 4 anchor straps

* Mobility conversion functions can be operated either with wireless remote, or via switches in various locations.

* This extensive conversion package includes wireless remote control, for operation of the ramp, door and suspension.

Summary
This silver-bullet is in the sweet spot of affordably priced used minivan wheelchair vans. This one is a very nice blend of age, miles, features and price. And of course, it will be in amazing, highly rejuvenated, “Certified” condition when we complete it.

Rejuvenation has begun: I have recently acquired this van and the extensive rejuvenation process has begun, which is carried-out by various professional shops and specialists.
