Hello and welcome,
Thank you for visiting, and
for the
opportunity to share with you the reasons why
my vans are special.
Folks from cities as widespread as
Salt Lake, Boise, Los Angeles, San
Francisco and
even Toledo Ohio... as well as all
over the northwest, have purchased
their vans here. They often say
that the reason they did so is that
wheelchair vans priced in the teens,
with these miles, features and
overall quality don't seem to be available anywhere
else.
In-depth
Rejuvenation...
We begin with low mile wheelchair
vans (never more than 90k) and each
undergoes a substantial interior,
exterior and mechanical improvement
process. Each van is tended to by an
average of 9 different professional
specialists. The result is vans which according to
established government guidelines, meets
or exceed standards required to be
classified as "Certified pre-owned".
In order to offer you a van that is cosmetically and mechanically
in top condition, I invest an
average of several thousand dollars
(at wholesale) plus much time and
effort. The
result is a van which meets or
exceeds the rating of good, fine or
satisfactory regarding each of the inspected elements on a comprehensive list.
(as seen further below)
Mechanical:
you're assured that everything from
non-critical features such as
interior lights, stereo, A/C and
power seats to the wear and care
items such as brakes, motor,
transmission and fluids have been
checked and if suggested, they've
been serviced or repaired.
Appearance and feel:
you're assured the body and interior
is looking sharp and even smells
nice...without dents, rust, scrapes
or notable paint
problems. And the interior is
free of negatives such as tears, cracks, bad carpet or notable stains.
For your
added peace of mind and
confidence, each Certified van
includes a warranty at no cost, as
follows: price up to $9,999
includes 3 month/3,000 mile
warranty---$9,999-$14,999 includes
6 month/6,000 mile warranty and for
those priced $15,000 and over the
included warranty is 12 months/12,000 miles.
Folks
want Certified...
The term "CERTIFIED" is used
nationally to describe the small
fraction of vehicles which have
earned this designation. As
for certified wheelchair vans,
they are nearly non-existent. The
benefits of certification to the
consumer are notable, as indicated
by this statement from a national
study in 2011: "fully 1/3 of
respondents said they would only buy
a used vehicle if it had earned the
Certified designation".
You may appreciate the following
quote, resulting from a national survey feel about certified
pre-owned (CPO).
"Just
about everybody seeks a sense of
security when buying a used car.
That's the point of the inspection
and warranty coverage related to
certified vehicles. Overall, 55
percent of surveyed shoppers cited
peace of mind as a top priority.
And more than 20 years of history
indicates that Certified Pre-Owned
buyers are more satisfied than
buyers of used cars in general".
From
a popular consumer magazine: "The
key to certified pre-owned vehicles
is that, unlike other used cars,
they have been inspected, repaired
and given a warranty"
From the most widely trusted
value-guide publication:
"Certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicles
are top quality, inspected used
vehicles backed by warranties"
From an online listing service
offering millions of vehicles per
year:
"Buying certified is an affordable
way to save money over time by
buying a car that's been inspected,
repaired, serviced and warranted"
Raising the
bar...
At the core of my Certified
program, I do as this statement from
Wikipedia suggests:
"
Independents (used auto dealers) may
employ a neutral third-party
inspector to ensure objectivity".
Yes, my vehicles have been
serviced, repaired, maintained and
ultimately considered worthy of
Certification by a neutral
third-party. These are
professionals working not only for
me, but also for other retail and
wholesale customers as well.
As a result,
they provide unbiased, fair and
accurate inspection, service and
repairs. Their efforts, combined
with many other specialists results
in the top level of overall
condition and quality once a van is
ready for sale. When you see, feel and drive
one of my vans, the superior
condition is very apparent.
Note: you may see other certified
programs (not
necessarily wheelchair
vans) boasting a list of as much
as a couple hundred items. However,
there is no substantial difference
in thoroughness or benefits and
resulting Certified 'promise'
compared to mine. This is because
most Certified Programs simply break
out the certification measures more
minutely in an attempt to appear to
be more thorough. For example, they
might refer to each lug nut as a
separate item on their inspection
list, which ridiculously adds 20-30
items to the list...just for lug
nuts! So, don't let the number of
inspected items fool you.
About the list...
Each element included in the inspection
is listed below. Each of these items is
now worthy of (or exceeds) being
Certified, based on established
government guidelines. As a result,
I can assure you that
on each van I offer, the condition of
every mechanical and cosmetic item on the list is deserving of
synonymous words such as 'good' or 'fine' or
'satisfactory'. In addition, you will find
on each vehicle details page an area labeled
"NEW OR RECENTLY SERVICED ITEMS". In
that area you can learn about certain functional and cosmetic items
which via visual or measurable
evaluation rise above the certified level
of good/fine/satisfactory.
NOTE:
the following list encompasses features found
among a wide variety of vehicles.
As such, not all items are applicable to
each vehicle. Via
the certification process, you are
assured that each item on this list
which is relevant to the vehicle you are
interested in meets (or exceeds) the
level of good/fine/satisfactory.
