2003 Ford XLT has rear entry mobility conversion with super entry clearance and interior headroom and heavy-duty lift, plus flexible interior
MILES 82,000
Price: $18,900

General Description
This black beauty began as a moderately equipped, standard length (not long or short) one-ton. Very few personal-wheelchair vans of rear entry configuration are well-equipped and standard length and most have an ugly, boxy, super tall roof. Nearly all are the long body and/or they are very sparsely equipped, which most folks don't want for personal use. This one-ton provides maximum durability, toughness, capability and grit. The primary features, before the mobility conversion: 5.4 engine with auto and overdrive; power windows and locks; tilt wheel and cruise control; center console; fancy wheel covers; rear ventilation; and more

Mobility and Adaptive Features
When new this was converted to being a special mobility van. Here is a list of its primary mobility features:

* Moderately tall, contoured roof: this creates awesome interior headroom, but it's not an ugly, boxy super tall roof. This moderately tall, contoured roof is detailed nicely inside with fabric, extra lighting, forward storage bin, ventilation ducts, and more.

* Fully finished interior, including the walls and ceiling (many rear entry full size vans are quite barren in the middle and rear areas)

* Tall rear access doors: this feature, combined with the tall roof, create super entry clearance, beyond most full size wheelchair vans and all lowered floor minivans

* Heavy-duty Braun lift: this has the solid platform with heavy capacity of 800. Includes a long and wide platform to accommodate virtually any person in any wheelchair or most scooters.

* Rear flip and fold seat: there is a seat along the passenger wall, near the rear, that folds up and out of the way when not in use.

* Various anchor points in floor: many various locations in the floor to insert anchor straps

* Includes 4 easy to use, quality anchor straps

Note: an extra flip and fold seat (adding to the one already there) could be added if desired, please ask

Summary
For the person or family who wants or needs special capacity or capability or versatility or flexibility...this van has all of that at a combined level and specific nature that is rarely found in a personal-use wheelchair van. Some folks search for a year or two to find a wheelchair van that meets this description of features, condition, miles and price. Please feel free to call with any questions.

Status

Rejuvenation has begun: I have recently acquired this van and the extensive rejuvenation process has begun, which is carried-out by various professional shops and specialists. If you are interested in securing this van for your future purchase (many of my vans are spoken for in this way prior to completion of rejuvenation) please feel free to call or mail me with any questions

NOTE: I am always searching for more vans which are a nice addition to the mix of vans we have to offer. I will post initial information here about each van as I purchase, transform, and then make them available for sale.
