Options and Equipment

The Van: A very desirable, special-ordered 3/4 ton, short body (see details below) with a 3.9 six cylinder for better economy than the usual V8.  Has full power and convenience features of windows, locks, tilt, cruise, cold A/C, chrome wheels and more. With brand new C.D. with I-Pod/MP3 jack.

The Conversion: When new it was converted in to what most folks would call a cruising or touring van by the Glavel company and the model is called 'Primetime'. The extensive functional and cosmetic features include; tall, contoured roof (clever design which adds lots of height but does not look awkward) running boards, tinted panorama windows with sliding openings, office console between the front seats, TV, VCR (I can add a DVD player for $300) real wood trim, fancy upholstery throughout, second row seat for 3 (included now with the van but is removed in most of the photos) which folds to a bed, custom graphics and more.

Adaptive equipment: After the Glavel conversion it was taken to a mobility company for adaptive features of; extended height rear doors with corresponding notched roof section, which creates fantastic overall headroom combined with super exit/entry height. This van has a power Ricon lift with wonderful automatic folding feature, which allows for easy access to the inside due to not having a solid platform creating a blockage.

NOTE: For a reasonable cost, you can add what I call 'flip and fold' seats, if you desire versatile but very space-efficient additional seating.

Dimensions, capacity and specifications: Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful if we communicate directly.

History of Ownership

Had one owner on the inland central California coast until only a few thousand miles ago.

History of Care

As often happens, the estate I bought this from did not have the receipts for the history of care. I do have every van inspected, measured and checked by a major mechanic shop here in Medford.  In addition to my customary oil and fluid service, the only recommendation was for front brakes, which I had them replace. This van currently runs, drives and performs absolutely fantastic, as you would hope and expect for having such low miles.

Also, as part of my 'Rick's rejuvenated'' process for wheelchair vans, I have a specialized mechanic who is an expert in mobility equipment who performs a service and inspection on relevant components. Mobility equipment has been adjusted, lubricated and miscellaneous care given.

Carfax Report Summary

(Carfax is a widely used database which indicates the history of a vehicle including accidents, prior owners, etc.)

All good, no derogatory history.

You Might Like To Know...

* AMAZING SIZE SURPRISE: Wow, the overall length of this short body full-size Dodge is only 6 inches longer than a minivan! But even more surprising is that the wheelbase (which dictates turning, parking and maneuverability) is almost 4 inches shorter! Therefore, with this van you get the benefit of more width and larger interior capacity, with essentially the same drivability of a minivan. And if you ever want to tow something, as a 3/4 ton full-size van it has that ability. Cool facts!

* Part of my rejuvenation process is to conclude the detailing process with a paint sealant, which has a retail value of several hundred dollars and significantly protects the finish...plus also helps make the van look nearly like new:)

* Each of my vans has a superb paint sealant as the final step of the extreme detail. If you were to have a professional apply a treatment the cost would be several hundred dollars.

Summary of this Gem

First, as with every van I sell, it's been fully rejuvenated to a high level of beauty and superb function.  This is a very desirable customized 'shorty' (full size capacity yet easy to handle due to short length) cruising van with mobility equipment of;  raised roof with tall doors and corresponding ceiling cutout for fantastic headroom and entry/exit ease with a split-platform lift which prevents the 'wall effect' of typical lifts. And it has super low miles and a fair price.
