Options and Equipment

THE VAN: This is a 1998 Dodge Caravan with 3.3 liter motor and automatic with overdrive.  Comes with common power and convenience features such as windows, locks, cruise, etc.

THE GOODIES: Has factory C.D. and upgraded stereo with equalizer and also has custom striping.

MOBILITY:  This one was converted by Braun when it was a new van.  They are the premier conversion company as well as the worlds largest manufacturer of lifts and related mobility products.   It has a deeply lowered floor which goes all the way to the dash, kneeling suspension, power sliding door and easily removable front seats for parking and/or driving from either front location.  Each of these features is operated by an optional wireless remote control on the keychain. This van also includes four Q-straint (best brand) retractable anchors.

History of Ownership

Has had a total of three owners, each of them were private users.  It has never had any commercial, high volume use.

History of Care

I don't have a printed history on this one, but with such low miles and having been taken excellent care of over the years, it is in fantastic condition.  This one needed very little to be at the high level of overall mechanical condition which each of my vans is in.

Each of my vans receives a detailed (about 75 items) inspection by the general mechanic shop which I consider to be the finest in my area. Then, after discussing their report, I have them do what is needed to repair, replace or service items on the vehicle in order to reach my high standard of overall mechanical condition.  This is a major element of my "Rick's rejuvenated" process.

In addition: as part of my 'Rick's rejuvenated'' process, each mobility/adaptive component is inspected, serviced, adjusted and repaired (if needed) by a different mechanic, who owns the premium company in this area which exclusively cares for wheelchair vans.

You Might Like To Know...

* Braun Entervan is one of few wheelchair vans which are built from new vans, in a production facility.  This company buys brand new vans, takes them to their facility, and then significantly modifies, adapts and re-creates them. Then, they are sold through a network of dealers (about 400 of them) as new wheelchair vans.

* Each of my vans has a superb paint sealant as the final step of the extreme detail. If you were to have a professional apply a treatment the cost would be several hundred dollars.

Summary of this Gem

This one is called a "Braun Entervan", which is a premium brand of conversion, by the number one brand of mobility equipment, which is Braun.  And with amazingly low 49,000 miles and in highly rejuvenated overall condition, this van should be wonderful for many years and lots of miles. This one will sell quickly.
