Options and Equipment THE VAN: This one is what the factory named the "Sport" model. As such, it is one of the most uniquely equipped and nicely optioned minivans of the era. This is true for cosmetics and function. This model begins with having sharp crisp- white paint (grey interior) and color-matching adjustable roof rack, plus fancy color-matched 16 inch factory wheels and fog lights. And it has a nice array of comfort and convenience features such as power windows, locks and mirrors, and also tilt wheel, cruise control and a nice factory stereo system. Throughout, it has extra goodies, features and benefits that make it appear and function better than the common, standard models. Some of these items are: anti-lock brakes; rear ventilation; awesome "infinity" sound system; wireless remote; and more GOODIES: custom stripes MOBILITY: When new, this was converted by one of the major, national conversion companies, named Rollx. In case you don't know of them: Rollx is a fine, privately owed company that has been doing quality conversions such as this for about 30 years. This has the package of features that most folks are looking for in a side entry, lowered floor minivan. Here's that list: * Deeply lowered floor, which begins immediately in front of the rear seat, and extends to directly below the dash area. This smooth, solid, level floor provides ease of movement anywhere in the mid-section of the van, and also in the front area of the van, if you remove the front seats via the quick release mechanisms. * Quick release (and easy to move) front seat assemblies, in case you want to park wheelchair in either front location * Power operated ramp which extends out from the passenger side sliding door * Power operated side sliding door * Power operated "kneeling" suspension causes the rear of the body to lower several inches, which makes the ramp angle more gentle, and thus easier to load and unload. * multiple locations for securing a wheelchair * multiple locations of switches which operate the mobility features of...ramp, door and suspension. Dimensions, capacity and specifications:Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful regarding this subject if we communicate directly. History of Ownership With the exception of a few thousand miles, this has had only two owners. One of those had it for 6 years and the other for 9. Most of its life was spent in a dry, rural, mountainous part of Arizona.
Certified This vehicle is 'CERTIFIED': There are a combined 76 mechanical and cosmetic aspects included in the Wheelchair Van Oasis "Certification" process. A foundational step of the rejuvenation process is when each vehicle receives an extensive inspection by an objective, independent third- party service and repair facility. Suggested service, repairs and improvements are then performed by various professional specialists. The result is your assurance that each of the 76 aspects meets or exceeds the condition level of good, or satisfactory For details regarding list of 76 cosmetic and mechanical aspects, please click here.
Each van does of
course have
various elements
which exceed the
promised level of good, or New: major mobility systems service; major refresh of transmission components (partial rebuild); motor mount; wipers; oil and lube; water pump; coolant flush; ABS system service and repair Recent: full set of quality tires; front brakes Approximate retail value/cost of above-listed items: $3,000 (extensive investment in cosmetic rejuvenation is in addition to this $3,000)
Carfax Report
Summary Nothing notably negative or unusual: no frame damage...no airbags deployed...no structural damage...no "red marks"...no major accident.
You Might Like To Know... * Each of my vans has a superb paint sealant as the final step of the extreme detail. If you were to have a professional apply a treatment the cost would be several hundred dollars. * Dodge Caravan is and always has been a direct cousin to the Plymouth Voyager and Chrysler Town & Country. They are virtually the same vans, only with different misc details between them. Summary of this Gem Side entry, lowered floor minivans equipped such as this one are the most popular and highly sought after of all wheelchair vans. And this one is in a "sweet-spot" of combined age, price, miles and features. This van represents a super overall "value", because its a lot of nice, capable van for a price many folks can afford. And of course, as with each van I offer, it is in beautiful condition inside and out, and is "Certified", which includes a warranty.
