Highlights of This Van: * This van had a new cost of approximately $55,000 (when combining the van cost and the conversion cost) * Top-quality, major conversion company. This family owned convertor has been creating wheelchair vans at their facility in Michigan for 20 years. They were pioneers in the lowered floor wheelchair van industry. |

Options and Equipment THE VAN: This is not the base model LX, but the notably more highly equipped EX model. The color is medium grey and has a light-medium grey interior. It has luxurious, capable and technological features such as: common power and convenience features; power seats on both sides; 17 inch alloys wheels; 3-zone digital climate control; blue-tooth; CD stereo; both slider doors are powered opening; and much more. MOBILITY: Almost exactly one year ago, Freedom Motors (20 year old, family-owned convertor, in Michigan) created this, for a well-to-do family in the Bay Area. Very sadly, its intended user was a man with advanced ALS, who passed away after only using it for a few months. Here is a list of its primary mobility features: * Deeply lowered “channeled” middle and rear floor (much entry clearance and interior headroom) * Cleverly and effectively spring-assisted manual ramp (only requires 5-10 pounds of effort to go up or down) is very long, which creates a very gentle load & unload angle * Many locations in the middle and rear areas of the floor for inserting wheelchair anchoring straps * Has the very desirable EZ-Lock electronic anchoring system, with controls on the dash and at the rear of the van * Note: this could have an accessory flip and fold seat added in the rear along the side, to allow two extra passengers when in use, or fold it up and out of the way when not in use. If you need more passenger capability, feel free to ask me about this possibility Dimensions, capacity and specifications: Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful regarding this subject if we communicate directly. History of Ownership: Has had only one user since new. It was only used for a few months, after it was bought and then converted. Carfax Report Summary (Carfax is a widely used database which indicates the history of a vehicle including accidents, prior owners, etc.) Nothing notably negative or unusual: No airbags deployed...No damage leading to such report notes as salvage, totaled, etc...no "red marks" on the report...no major accident...no lemon history, no odometer tampering, no derogatory remarks on the state-issued title You Might Like To Know... Hondas are the most rare wheelchair vans. Toyotas and Hondas are both very statistically uncommon and represent a very small percentage of the entire wheelchair van world. Hondas are the most hard to find. Plus, they usually don't make it to the used market, because friends or family usually buy them from families who no longer need them.
