Highlights of This Van:

$(details soon) of new and very recent mechanical service: details below
(extensive investment in cosmetic rejuvenation is in addition to this $(details soon))

* Deeply lowered floor creates enough entry clearance and interior headroom to accommodate most folks in their wheelchairs

* This van is essentially a ONE OWNER, as I acquired it from a young man who's aunt and uncle bought it new and he inherited it from them only months ago.

Options and Equipment

THE VAN:

This is the standard length (not long or short) half ton model. Has the famous, 4.2 liter inline 6 cylinder (lots of torque, very reliable and good MPG) and auto with overdrive. Includes power windows and locks, tilt wheel and cruise control.

NEW accesories:

Wide body side molding for appearance and protection from door dings; customs stripes/graphics; rear tire cover; modern wheel covers

MOBILITY:

Was converted when new by a mobility conversion company in the Bay Area. They had created quite a special van when they concluded this project. It includes these very extensive mobility features:

* Deeply lowered floor: This one is lowered what is general considered the maximum possible, which is apx 8 inches! It is lowered from directly in front of the rear seat and into the middle of the van and also in the driver's area (floor is not lowered in front passenger area)

* Super lift: has heavy duty 700 pound capacity Ricon lift with long and wide platform. It has what is called a folding platform, so that when lift is stowed able-bodied folks can easily go in and out of the van.

* Unique drivers seat, has large wheels and a latching system under it for easy removal, for a time if or when a person in a wheelchair wants or needs to drive from their wheelchair. This group of functional details are designed for the occasion when more than one person is routinely using the van and one or more needs or wants to drive from wheelchair and other folks do not.

* Power sliding side door: works in conjunction with the lift, via switches in multiple locations, for solo operation (by some users)

* Use switches in multiple locations to operate the slider door and lift.

* Various anchor point locations and anchor straps included

Dimensions, capacity and specifications:

Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful regarding this subject if we communicate directly.

History of Ownership:

This van is essentially a ONE OWNER, as I acquired it from a young man who's aunt and uncle bought it new and he inherited it from them only months ago.

Certified

This vehicle is 'CERTIFIED': There are a combined 76 mechanical and cosmetic aspects  included in the Wheelchair Van Oasis "Certification" process.   A foundational step of the rejuvenation process is when each vehicle receives an extensive inspection by an objective, independent  third- party service and repair facility.  Suggested service, repairs and improvements are then performed by various professional specialists.   The  result is your assurance  that each of the 76 aspects  meets  or exceeds the condition level of good, or satisfactory.

For details regarding list of 76 cosmetic and mechanical aspects, please click here. Each van does of course have various elements which exceed the promised level of good or satisfactory, which the "Certified" program assures.  Some are brand new improvements performed during rejuvenation.  And others are obvious service or repairs performed recently, prior to my ownership.  As for those, I only list here those positives which are certain, based on my either having a receipt, and/or due to being obvious to the inspecting-mechanic.  I refer to these as  "NEW OR RECENTLY SERVICED ASPECTS".

(Carfax is a widely used database which indicates the history of a vehicle including accidents, prior owners, etc.)

Nothing notably negative or unusual: No airbags deployed...No damage leading to such report notes as salvage, totaled, etc...no "red marks" on the report...no major accident...no lemon history, no odometer tampering, no derogatory remarks on the state-issued title

You Might Like To Know...
Each of my vans has a superb paint sealant as the final step of the extreme detail. If you were to have a professional apply a treatment the cost would be several hundred dollars.
* Note: this is an example of a full size wheelchair van that achieves its nice entry clearance and interior headroom, not from having a tall roof, but from having a lowered floor. In this case, very deeply lowered. Not having a tall roof provides that you can go into parking garages, carports, drive thru windows, etc. Plus, some folks appreciate that a wheelchair van with these features does not look like a wheelchair van, it looks like a typical van.

Summary of this Gem
This van is a great solution for various types of users. Most specifically, this is a super van (and VERY hard to find) for someone who wants to be able to load, unload and drive, with no assistance from anyone. This one is extremely sharp and also super capable

It looks nearly identical to a normal van, but with the deeply lowered floor, it is a highly capable and versatile wheelchair van.
Many cosmetic updates such as moldings, stripes and tinted windows make this van look nicely modern
