* This "Certified" van represents a super sweet-spot: gets you a fairly modern, well-equipped, very capable wheelchair van, with nice miles, at an affordable price.

* Rollx is a great Midwest company. They are my favorite convertor to interact with for customer service, buying parts, etcetera.

Options and Equipment

THE VAN:
Began as a "Grand" Caravan with moderate trim level named "SE". It has the 3.3-liter V6 motor (most common motor) and auto with overdrive. In addition to common power and convenience items such as power windows, locks, mirrors, tilt wheel and cruise control, it has upgraded, optional features such as: rear A/C; tinted windows; upgraded interior and exterior trim; newer CD stereo with accessory port; and more

MOBILITY
When new, an excellent company that has been making such vans as this for about 30 years, named Rollx, converted this van. This company has been in the Midwest since their origin and I like their conversions very much. The extensive, helpful package of mobility features on this van includes these items:

* Deeply lowered floor. This lowered area goes all the way from the rear seat to the dash area. This creates generous entry clearance and interior headroom.

* Power ramp out the passenger side door. Ramp is nicely long and wide, allowing for nearly any wheelchair-bound person to go in and out without any clearance issues.

* Power sliding passenger side door. This operates in conjunction with the ramp and the "kneeling" suspension.

* "Kneeling" suspension. This sweet feature causes the van to lower several inches in the rear, which notably reduces the ramp angle, and makes going in and out smoother, easier, safer.

* Easily removable front seats. In a matter of seconds or minutes you can flip levers and remove or install either of the front seats.

* Many various locations for inserting anchor straps in the floor, for securing a wheelchair. Includes 4 anchor straps.

* Mobility conversion functions can be operated via switches in multiple locations. Note: this likely will have a wireless remote for the ramp, door and kneeling.

Ownership

Has been in Oregon its entire life. Only two owners since new. It is notable that Oregon vehicles do not have rust. Even though the fact is that it rains quite a bit in much of Oregon, there is not rust on the vehicles. This is primarily because there is no salt used on the roads in winter, and secondarily, because the humidity is generally fairly low or moderate. No salt and low or moderate humidity...leads to no rust issues.

Certified

This vehicle is 'Certified': There are a combined 76 mechanical and cosmetic aspects included in the Wheelchair Van Oasis Certification process. A foundational step of the rejuvenation process is when each vehicle receives an extensive inspection by an objective, independent  third- party service and repair facility.  Suggested service, repairs and improvements are then performed by various professional specialists. The result is your assurance  that each of the 76 aspects meets or exceeds the condition level of good, or satisfactory.

For details regarding list of 76 cosmetic and mechanical aspects, please

Each van does of course have various elements which exceed the promised level of good or satisfactory, which the Certified program assures. Some are brand new improvements performed during rejuvenation.  And others are obvious service or repairs performed recently, prior to my ownership.  As for those, I only list here those positives which are certain, based on my either having a receipt, and/or due to being obvious to the inspecting-mechanic. I refer to these as NEW OR RECENTLY SERVICED ASPECTS

You Might Like To Know...

Dodge Caravan is the very close cousin to the Chrysler Town & Country and the Plymouth Voyager. They are essentially the same vehicle. There are very minor differences, but for most years they were actually built in the same factory.

Summary of this Gem

If you want this somewhat modern body style of such Chrysler corporation vans (2001-2007) with complete power mobility conversion, this is a great one, with a nice amount of miles. Plus of course, as with each van we offer, this has been highly rejuvenated cosmetically and functionally to "Certified" condition.
