2005 Dodge Grand Caravan equipped to carry a wheelchair or scooter in the rear interior area, in a very easy-to-use manner, via a remote-control operated power lift
MILES 60,000 (total, actual miles)
Price: $11.500

General Description
This white van with grey interior began as the nicely equipped SE model, with 3.3 liter 6 cylinder and auto with overdrive. Has common power and convenience features, such as: power windows, locks and mirrors; tilt wheel and cruise control; power rear vents; CD stereo; etc. It also has the very desirable option of rear ventilation system.

Mobility and Adaptive Features
This IS NOT a van that is able to lift/carry a person and their wheelchair or scooter. Rather, this is intended for a person who has enough mobility to get in and out and function as a typical passenger. However, this owner wants or needs their wheelchair or scooter to be inside the van, rather than sitting on a platform on the rear of the van, exposed to the elements and all of the negatives that brings. Here is a description of the lift and process:

* Platform style lift (far nicer than a crane-style lift) in the rear hatch area: this was built by one of the largest manufactures of this style of lift. It is operated by a wireless remote control (nifty and convenient) and the platform is sizeable enough and the hatch area is large enough, to accommodate most wheelchair and scooters. Push the remote button and the lift comes out and goes to the ground. Drive the chair or scooter on and raise it back up and in. Reverse the process to unload.

Summary
for the person with wheelchair or scooter, who does not need a full service wheelchair van, or the cost of one, this van would be a super solution. It has very low miles and will of course be in super overall condition after we have completed our extensive cosmetic and functional rejuvenation process.

Status

Rejuvenation has begun: I have recently acquired this van and the extensive rejuvenation process has begun, which is carried-out by various professional shops and specialists. If you are interested in securing this van for your future purchase (many of my vans are spoken for in this way prior to completion of rejuvenation) please feel free to call or mail me with any questions

NOTE: I am always searching for more vans which are a nice addition to the mix of vans we have to offer. I will post initial information here about each van as I purchase, transform, and then make them available for sale. From the time I purchase a van until my transformation process is completed, averages approximately 4-6 weeks.

Please visit this page periodically.

Dear Rick... I want to take this time to let you know how excited I am about the 95 Ford camping van that I bought from you. I just love it!! I truly appreciated your kindness, patience and understanding throughout the whole process. I also appreciate the quality of the van. You were nothing like those typical car salesman. You were friendly, cheerful and not pushy....and still gave me a great deal!!! I will certainly send folks your way.

Thanks again!
