General Description
This black van with grey interior began as a standard length (not long or short) SLT model that has small 5.2 liter V8 and automatic with overdrive. Began with power and convenience features such as: power windows, locks and mirrors; tilt wheel and cruise control; power drivers seat; stereo; chrome bumpers, grill and fancy trim features inside and out.

Goodies
Was converted with a very fancy cruising/touring package when new by a major, national custom convertor named "Elk". This included features such as: moderately tall, contoured roof; large fancy side windows; fancy seats; power drivers seat; rear seat folds into a bed; extensive real wood interior trim, such as cabinet doors and overhead pieces; rear ventilation system; extensive storage areas; plus more.

Note: this may receive fancy wheels added, as part of our extensive Rejuvenation process.

Mobility and Adaptive Features
* Ricon power lift: this has a high capacity and a platform long and wide enough to carry most folks in their wheelchairs. This is a unique model called a Klear-View that has a unique platform that allows for it to be nicely long when being utilized for going in and out, but it does not block the view out the side doors when stowed.

* Power swinging side doors: this is a feature that is necessary for certain folks who have a level of mobility that allows them to load, drive and unload, with no assistance. For folks who don't need it, there are still benefits of the ease of the open/close process. This van has two small side doors (most folks call these "barn doors") that have power mechanisms added to them to allow them to swing in or out using switches (there likely will also be a wireless remote, but unsure at the time of this writing)

* Special floor project: this has what is one of my favorite improvements on wheelchair vans, which is very helpful to the person in the wheelchair and able-bodied folks as well. I consider this feature to be an improvement that most wheelchair vans ought to have, old or new. You see, if you pay close attention to how floors typically are in personal use wheelchair vans, you will notice that they are usually not actually solid, smooth and level. Rather, they are somewhat lumpy, bumpy and not as easy to maneuver a wheelchair on as they can be. This is because the factory metal floor of a van is not actually smooth, it has ridges and contours...plus has a carpet pad which wheelchair wheels sink into a bit, creating resistance to maneuvering. Based on my specifications and design, this floor will be greatly improved above the original floor treatment by removing the existing carpet and pad and then installing a sheet of wood directly over the lumpy, bumpy, contoured metal floor. And it became a smooth, solid, level floor. And then a quality type of commercial vinyl/rubber flooring will be used to cover the wood. This material is tough and easy to clean. This van will have this new flooring package, which notably improves the interior function of the van for everyone.

* Anchor points for floor: this has or will have several anchor point areas in the floor

* Includes 4 anchor straps for securing wheelchair

* Possible wireless remote for side doors and lift (very likely)

CUSTOM NOTE
If needed or desired, this van could have a device added under the driver's seat that is generally referred to as a "turning base". These awesome devices allow extreme travel front to rear, up and down and most importantly, allows the seat to turn apx. 90 degrees. These capabilities allow some folks to transfer to and from their wheelchair, for driving access. New cost for parts and labor for such custom-installed devices begins at apx $4,500, however, we have several nice used units that could be installed for a total added cost of apx $1,750 +/- (please ask for details about this if you are interested)

Preliminary Photos

Please consider these are "preliminary" photos and as such, they typically show the van in early stages of our transformation process. As a result you may see various flaws, which will be remedied prior to sale.

She's a black beauty. These pics do not show custom wheels which she will have when completed

Awesome lift! One of the longest and widest platforms of all lifts and it has heavy-duty capacity

This is what is referred to as a "bed extension". When the bench seat lies flat, this extension is positioned exactly in line with the seat, which creates a notably larger bed than otherwise

Notice that when this lift is stowed, there is nice visibility out the side windows, which is due to this unique style of lift

Notice the miles in this photo, taken before it was driven from Texas. At sale time it will have apx 13,000 miles

Simple dash and gauge area, includes such features as: front and rear ventilation controls; stereo (will receive new system with accessory port, during our process); square box controller for the lift and power side doors; center console.
Summary
Of course, this vans most awesome fact is its absolutely incredibly low original, total miles of 13,000! Its best feature is actually the package of several features, which allows some folks in wheelchairs, if desired or needed, to load, drive and unload themselves with no assistance from another person. We call this one "black beauty", and she certainly is.

Dear Rick... I want to take this time to let you know how excited I am about the 95 Ford camping van that I bought from you. I just love it!! I truly appreciated your kindness, patience and understanding throughout the whole process. I also appreciate the quality of the van. You were nothing like those typical car salesman. You were friendly, cheerful and not pushy....and still gave me a great deal!!! I will certainly send folks your way.

Thanks again!
