Mobility Features
When new this received a mobility conversion from a large, nationally known company named ATS. If you have never seen a rear entry lowered floor minivan, it may be hard to understand how they appear and operate, because it is quite different than the much more common side entry lowered floor vans. You can see similar rear entry vans in the archive area at the bottom section of my vans for sale page. This vans mobility conversion includes:

* Rear floor area has been deeply lowered/channeled in a sloping fashion which creates very generous entry clearance and interior headroom for person in wheelchair. At the rear of the van the floor is about 18 inches lower than a common van. This, combined with the ramp, creates the ability to roll a wheelchair into the van and park either toward the rear of the van if you want/need to use the factory middle row seat, thus needing to park the wheelchair in the furthermost rear area. Or, if you want to park the wheelchair more directly behind the front seating area, you can remove the middle row seat (factory bench seat) and roll a wheelchair forward so that it is only 1-2 feet behind the front row of seats (parked where the middle row seat would otherwise be)

* Manual ramp made of aluminum. This is not heavy and is easy to operate, even for folks who are not very strong or coordinated. This rests in a space immediately in front of the rear hatch.

* Has maximum ability to carry 5 total seated/belted passengers, plus a person in a wheelchair.

* Several anchor point locations in the channel area, creates choices as to where to park the wheelchair.

NOTE: conversions with manual rear door and manual ramp such as this are very common in taxis, as they are very foolproof and have zero motors, electronics or complicated elements to possibly break or cause problems. They are virtually 100% reliable and dependable, whereas the common power conversions, either side or rear entry, can be glitchy when they are more than a few years old. The great news about this van is that although it has this reliable, easy to use package often found on taxis, it has not had that sort of harsh use. It has had a private, family-use history and so it has not been abused or over-used.

Preliminary Photos

Please consider these are "preliminary" photos and as such, they typically show the van in early stages of our transformation process. As a result you may see various flaws, which will be remedied prior to sale.

Status

Rejuvenation has begun: I have recently acquired this van and the extensive rejuvenation process has begun, which is carried-out by various professional shops and specialists. If you are interested in securing this van for your future purchase (many of my vans are spoken for in this way prior to completion of rejuvenation) please feel free to call or mail me with any questions

Summary

I get calls and mail from folks who for various reasons need or prefer a rear entry van and most often I don't have any. And so I am happy to have this one to offer. Even though it does not have particularly low miles (although it is well below the national average) it will be a super van, as all of my offerings are, once it has been rejuvenated cosmetically and functionally.

NOTE: I am always searching for more vans which are a nice addition to the mix of vans we have to offer. I will post initial information here about each van as I purchase, transform, and then make them available for sale. From the time I purchase a van until my transformation process is completed, averages approximately 4-6 weeks.

Please visit this page periodically.

Thank you,

Rick

Dear Rick... I want to take this time to let you know how excited I am about the 95 Ford camping van that I bought from you. I just love it!! I truly appreciated your kindness, patience and understanding throughout the whole process. I also appreciate the quality of the van. You were nothing like those typical car salesman. You were friendly, cheerful and not pushy....and still gave me a great deal!!! I will certainly send folks your way.

Thanks again!
