2001 Ford with touring/cruising conversion AND substantial mobility conversion
MILES 52,000 (total, actual miles)
Price: To Be Determined

General Description
This white van with tan graphics and accents, began as a standard length, not long or short, half ton. It has a small V8 and auto with overdrive. Includes popular comfort and convenience features such as: power windows, locks and mirrors; tilt wheel and cruise control; stereo

Touring/cruising conversion
when new this received, by a major national convertor, a very nice cosmetic package of features such as: fancy wheels; integrated, functional running boards and wheel opening flares; large picture windows; fancy interior and exterior trim; real wood trim inside; extra interior lighting and comforts; upgraded seats and fabrics; and more

Mobility Features
when new this received a very major package of mobility features by a major national convertor. It was designed and built to accommodate certain folks in wheelchairs being able to load, drive and unload themselves. This high level of features includes the many valuable features listed below

BIG NOTE
this van does not have a tall roof. Please read on! Many wheelchair van shoppers do not realize that all full size wheelchair vans do not have tall roofs. Rather, there is a common conversion process that results in the floor being very modified and lowered. This creates much extra entry clearance and interior headroom. Benefits to having a lowered floor and not a tall roof are many: park in most home and commercial garages; go into most carwashes; better MPG; less wind buffeting and wind noise: appearance is very similar to a common, typical van, rather than looking like a wheelchair van. This van has a lowered floor and many other mobility features, listed below

* Power operated side doors

* Lowered interior floor, which begins at rear seat and goes all the way to below the dash

* Power lift with folding platform, gets out of the way for able-bodied folks to go in and out when stowed

* Several locations with switches for operation of side doors and lift. It MAY end up with a wireless remote but that is yet to be determined

* Quick release front seats can be removed easily for parking wheelchair in either front location

* Solid, smooth, level floor is great for maneuvering wheelchair on

* Many anchor-point locations in the floor area for securing wheelchair

Summary
This is one heck of a mobility van. It is very attractive, very capable and very versatile. Plus, it has amazingly low miles. If you don’t need the major headroom that a tall roof provides, this van would have plenty of headroom and entry clearance. This one is quite a gem.

Dear Rick... I want to take this time to let you know how excited I am about the 95 Ford camping van that I bought from you. I just love it!! I truly appreciated your kindness, patience and understanding throughout the whole process. I also appreciate the quality of the van. You were nothing like those typical car salesman. You were friendly, cheerful and not pushy....and still gave me a great deal!!! I will certainly send folks your way.

Thanks again!
