1997 Wilderness (by Fleetwood) 25th anniversary 22LW travel trailer
Current Price: $5,600

Highlights of this Trailer:

* Wide body creates noticeable extra interior space and benefits the floorplan (no slideout, but it feels good and very functional inside)

* Much new and upgraded (see details below)

* Extremely efficient and versatile floor plan

Features summarized, describing from front to rear

Dinette area: very large dinette was designed for 4 people, as most are. But this one is larger than most. I am 300 pounds and 6-1 and my wife and me can sit with each other, with 2 average people sitting across from us, no problem. Due to the wide body of this trailer, this dinette makes into a bed that is unusually long at 6-3, and wide enough for two people. Plus, the table top is custom and brand new and it is 12 inches longer than the original, which creates a larger surface for eating, playing games, etc. There is storage cabinets above dinette.

Kitchen area: double sided stainless steel sink. Size-able pop-up counter extension. 3 burner stove with oven. Large storage under sink, plus overhead cabinets. Nice kitchen window. Decent size refrigerator and separate freezer

Couch area, directly across from kitchen: first, it is awesome that there is a comfortable pathway between kitchen and couch area. This is due to the “wide body” (8 feet was max legal trailer width in this era, it is now 8 1/2) of this trailer. The couch area is 6-4 long. Longer than most. It folds quickly down to a bed. There is large storage area underneath. Above the couch are large cabinets, which cleverly can convert into a kids bunk, for up to 100 pounds.

Rear bathroom on one side: (Note: immediately before the bathroom is a hanging closet with several drawers/bins below it). Bathroom is decent size for this length trailer. Has features of: sink with storage below; vanity cabinet with mirror above sink; toilet; shower; fan. Nice bonus is that there is real wood trim on cabinets (throughout trailer) and there is a skylight above shower for light and extra headroom. I am 6-1 and can stand tall in it.

Rear bedroom on other side: 6-5 long bed area! Double-size bed has storage under it; cabinets above; two windows, one is a large emergency exit

Summary of this Gem

No...It's not perfect, flawless, like-new or in showroom condition. However, it is a good quality trailer, with a nice list of features, in fantastic cosmetic and functional condition (freshly rejuvenated) and it has much that is new or recent. Plus it's a fantastic floor plan, partially due to the uncommon wide body stance, which was uncommon until 5-10 years ago.
