Options and Equipment

THE VAN:  Began as the rare (less than 1%) top-of-the-line Limited model.  This has a long list of features above and beyond the typical minivan, such as: perforated, dual power, leather seats;  Dual  front climate control;  front and rear heat and A/C;   very fancy 'Infinity" audio system;  fog lights;  special pearl white paint; upgraded interior and exterior features.

MOBILITY:   This has been converted by a division of one of the two industry giants, called Ricon.   This was converted when brand new in a modern, state of the art facility which converts thousands of vans per year.  The new cost for a similar van today would be around $60,000.  Here are the main features:

* Deeply lowered floor

* easily removable front seats

* most desirable style of ramp, which is this 'in-floor' style

*  kneeling suspension

* extensive choices as to where to anchor the chair

* Extra-Extra: this van has a feature which only some folks need, but if needed, is VERY wonderful to have.  This is an ultra-low-effort assist system for the steering and brakes.  This system causes no affect to driving unless needed, at which time you just push a button and the assist system makes steering and braking so easy it only takes about 10% of the usual effort to operate. This system costs about $3k when new.

Dimensions, capacity and specifications: Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful regarding this subject if we communicate directly.

History of Ownership

Has had only two owners in its life

History of Care

It's obvious this one has been used in a careful and caring way.  It did not need very much to raise it to my usual high level of mechanical condition.  It now runs and drives as good as it looks.

Each of my vans receives a detailed (about 75 items) inspection by the general mechanic shop which I consider to be the finest in my area. Then, after discussing their report, I have them do what is needed to repair, replace or service items on the vehicle in order to reach my high standard of overall mechanical condition.  And in case you may wonder, their process on each van does include an oil, lube and filter service.  The aforementioned inspection, repair and service process is a major and very valuable element of my "Rick's rejuvenated" process.

As a result of the above mentioned process, here is a list of some items which were cared for by the shop I speak of:

* serpentine belt

* A/C serviced

* Transmission service

* Radiator flush

In addition: as part of my 'Rick's rejuvenated'' process, each mobility/adaptive component is inspected, serviced, adjusted and repaired (if needed) by a different mechanic, who owns the premium company in this area which exclusively cares for wheelchair vans.

Carfax Report Summary

(Carfax is a widely used database which indicates the history of a vehicle including accidents, prior owners, etc.)

Fine, nothing negative or unusual.

You Might Like To Know...

*  This is one fancy and capable van, with rare and desirable features

* Each of my vans has a superb paint sealant as the final step of the extreme detail. If you were to have a professional apply a treatment the cost would be several hundred dollars.

Summary of this Gem

If you want a super-equipped wheelchair van, loaded with extra features, and low miles too...this is one to take a close look at.  As with each van I have, it has been extensively rejuvenated and is not only beautiful to look at, but is in exceptional functional condition too.  When I have lowered floor minivans with low miles priced in the teens they usually sell very quickly, as they are what many people are hoping to find.
