Options and Equipment THE VAN: It is a GL model, with a nice array of power and convenience features, plus it has dual A/C (works great), alloy wheels, upgraded stereo and tinted windows. THE GOODIES: custom striping and factory floor mats MOBILITY: Has a brand new lift which is generally referred to as a 'platform style'. It is a model called a Backpacker, which is nearly the same as the one currently sold by Pride mobility, a division of the largest seller/manufacturer of lifts, scooters, chairs, etc. The Backpacker is the finest quality and most easy to use. It is for a person who has sufficient mobility to be able to get in and out of their chair in order to sit in a passenger seat, but wants an easy to use, convenient and reliable way to carry their chair or scooter inside. Dimensions, capacity and specifications: Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful if we communicate directly. History of Ownership Since 1999 this van was owned by Jackson County, here in Medford. It was typically used when managers needed to visit neighboring county offices for meetings. History of Care As is usually the case, government agencies do not make their maintenance records available. The good news: as is widely known, such agencies care for their vehicles very well, as they have their own shop and mechanics working full time to whatever is needed or recommended. And as part of my rejuvenation process, each van I sell has been inspected and well cared for. This currently runs, drives and performs fantastic...as good as it looks. As part of my 'Rick's rejuvenated'' process for wheelchair vans, each mobility component is inspected, serviced, adjusted and repaired (if needed) by the premium company in this area which exclusively cares for wheelchair vans. They were the company that installed this brand new lift.
Carfax Report
Summary Nothing negative or derogatory on the report. You Might Like To Know... This lift has an installed price of nearly $3,000. The reason I am able to sell this beautiful, well equipped, low mile van including this new lift for this modest price is because: one of my close friends is actually the person who designed and manufactured these lifts, right here in Medford. He recently sold his company to a giant national organization called Pride Mobility and this lift was a miscellaneous one which remained with him. Note: my understanding is that the very similar lifts currently being sold are not made in the U.S.A. This one was built right here in Medford! Summary of this Gem This is an immaculate, very affordable solution for a person with a certain need: if you are able to ride in one of the original/standard seats in a vehicle, but need an easy to use, reliable lift to load & unload your chair or scooter, this would be a fantastic van for you. The lift is brand new and of highest quality and due to my rejuvenation process, the van is immaculate, beautiful and ready to go.
